About the role
I am seeking a second in command to support and manage the businesses. Looking for a person that can manage the team and create processes that make the business more efficient. If you are the next Donna Pulsen, you will know what this role will entail and what I am looking for.
The role is to work closely with me to grow the business.
I am looking for someone who is highly organised, attention to detail and enjoys the challenge of making sure all the paperwork is in order.
Currently, we have staff internationally. Your role will be to help manage and recruit new team members and outsource the roles that can be done more efficiently using remote staff. There will be basic day-to-day duties, and the plan is to outsource those tasks. That will be your highest priority.
I am also looking for someone who is ambitious and wants to make a difference in the world. I have some big projects to tick off my list in life. We are currently based in Lismore, and we will be moving to Port Macquarie over the next few years.
The role is remote and happy to work with the right candidate anywhere in Australia and New Zealand, Preferably someone on the east coast of Australia.
It can be full-time or part-time, depending on the right candidate. The ideal person could manage a full-time team part-time.
About The company.
The Off Grid Shop supplies training and education to people who want to go off-grid. We help people design and purchase off-grid solar systems to help complete a high-level educational process for that journey.
We are currently in the middle of Launching a new online course platform.
The course helps people, from buying a block of land and dealing with DAs and approvals to turning the lights on. We are privileged to be a part of helping people build their Off-Grid Dreams. There is a lot that goes into going off-grid.
We were highly affected by to 2022 lismore floods. This gave me a new opportunity to return and take the business in a different direction. You can see a video on our youtube channel and learn more about me, Mike.

I like to work hard and also take some time out and enjoy time with my family. Some would say I have ADHD and think I like to do as much work as possible in as little time as possible. Spending time with my family is a high priority, and looking for those who value the same.
